Hi, I’m Anna!

Currently, I am studying Graphic Design at Iowa State University, and am truly enjoying every minute of it.

I began my studies in Graphic Design three years ago, and I have personally experienced the most growth over the last year. I am finding out that my true passion lies within print and editorial design, typography, branding, and visual identity.

Growing up, I found myself drawn towards anything in the realm of art and creation. Whether I was sitting at my kitchen table drawing for hours, acting in and filming plays in my backyard with childhood best friends, writing and illustrating hand-stapled books about fairies and princesses, or creating a so-called “fashion magazine” with my triplet sisters via our home-printer; I have always felt the most inspired and the most myself when creating.  

Fast-forward to present day, and really not much has changed; only now it is the pretty packaging in the beauty-aisle at Target, the contrast of a bold typeface and the white space it sits on, or the perfect alignment of type that inspires me.
